A man charged with bringing a knife and explosives onto an airplane has appeared in federal court.

38-year-old William Fritz of Florida pleaded not guilty. He's accused of carrying fireworks and a knife onto an Alaska Airlines flight that made an unscheduled stop in Tulsa on July 3rd.

We should know in about a week when Fritz's next court appearance will be.
