Audubon International School renamed in honor of Henry Zarrow

A Tulsa school has a new name. Monday morning Tulsa Public Schools officially renamed and rededicated the former Audubon International School in honor of Tulsa philanthropist Henry Zarrow.

Zarrow came to the rescue of Tulsa's schools last fall with a one million dollar challenge grant. He says he's honored to be recognized. "So much has been said about me. I'm embarrassed to say any more. But I really thank you from the bottom of my heart and I know that all these children are gonna be great Americans."

The school district also unveiled a portrait of Zarrow, which will hang in the entry of Zarrow International School.
