TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ A Tulsa County judge denied a request Thursday to halt next week's scheduled vote on an $885 million economic development package.
A former city councilor filed the lawsuit August 25th. Todd Huston alleged that two of the four ballot questions are unconstitutional because they represent multiple projects.
He sought to halt next Tuesday's vote.
District Judge Jane Wiseman rejected the lawsuit, which claimed the two questions violate the ``single subject rule.''
The lawsuit targeted propositions 3 and 4, which provide $521.7 million for higher education institutions, a new events arena and improvements to streets and trails, among other projects.
