Oklahoma city is just two and a half months away from opening another big tourist attraction.
Bass Pro is putting the finishing touches on its 110,000 square foot building in Bricktown. Tuesday, Oklahoma City officials got a firsthand look at what they're paying for. The city has shelled out $17-million for the building and are leasing it to Bass Pro.
Project Manager Wayne Courville, "it looks great, we're really pleased with the progress, we're real pleased with nature of the store, they've done some specialty things here, like I said, that hasn't been done is some of their other stores."
Construction should essentially be complete by the end of the month, when Bass Pro will begin installing displays and bringing in merchandise. The grand opening is set for November 20th.
