A backyard shooting leaves one man dead. Tulsa Police are trying to determine whether the homeowner who shot him acted within the law.

It happened around 11-30 this morning near 21st and 129th East Avenue. Police say the shooter told them the man tried to break into his home, so he shot the alleged intruder in the head and killed him.

The body was found in the backyard, so officers will have to determine whether the shooting falls under the "make my day" law. That law allows a person to use deadly force only if prosecutors decide the personâ€™s life is in danger.
