The Tulsa Talons won their first arenafootball-2 title Saturday night in front of the largest crowd in team history.
They defeated the Macon Knights 58-40 behind the passing of quarterback Craig Strickland. Strickland was the game’s Most Valuable Player passing for five touchdowns and running for two more.
The announced attendance of 7,184 was slightly higher the than the official capacity of the Convention Center.
