Lots of kids are back in school, but some of them learned Wednesday that 'nature' can be America's best classroom.
National Park ranger Lisa Conard visited Tulsa Wednesday to teach kids how important our national parks are to all of us. It’s hard to cover all 388 national parks in an afternoon, so she showcased Oklahoma's three national parks and three national trails. "Most of the National Park Rangers have a great knowledge on all of the national parks in the system but of course our own park is our fortes; we also try to encourage what is in the state."
Conard works at the state's newest national monument, Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial.
