Bartlesville is gearing up for the American Legion World Series this weekend. This is the first time the event has been held in Bartlesville.

8 teams will compete for the championship starting Friday at the revamped Bill Doenges Memorial stadium.

Almost $2-million have gone into getting the ballpark ready to host the event
