A Tulsa Police officer is on suspension, charged with embezzling money from the department's property room.

Anna Cowdrey is charged with one felony and four misdemeanor charges of embezzlement. She's been in the department for 14 years.

The News on 6 was the first to break the news about the investigation earlier this year.

The Tulsa County DA originally declined to prosecute, but after the fraud unit completed an audit of the property room, charges were filed Friday.
