A woman and her four children were taken to the hospital after an unusual series of events early Friday.

Tulsa Police officers were called to west Tulsa around midnight for a hit and run. They say the woman was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes and sideswiped an SUV. Minutes later they were called to the Pepsi plant.

The woman's car ended up at the bottom of an embankment and rolled over. The woman and her children were taken to the hospital for observation.

Police don't know why the woman was going the wrong way.
