(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State kicker Luke Phillips has a source of motivation.

Phillips is not on the watch list of 30 college kickers for the Lou Groza Award after being on the list when the season began last year.

The award is given each year to the nation's top placekicker.

Phillips says being left off the pre-season watch list motivates him to have a great senior season.

Phillips converted 11-of-16 field goal attempts last season and 55-of-56 extra point tries.
