(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma baseball officials say it's been a good summer for signing prospects for the 2004 season.

Head coach Larry Cochell says the signee class includes accomplished players from both high school and junior college.

Graduation and the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft had an impact on O-U's squad. Cochell says only two starters are returning to the infield and one to the outfield. He says several starting jobs up for grabs this fall.

The signee class includes infielder Brenan Herrera of Northern Oklahoma College, infielder Ryan Rohlinger of Clarendon College in Wisconsin, outfielder Jeff Scuderi of Saddleback Junior College in California, and Michael Simons, an outfielder from Rose State College.
