OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A virus that infected computers around the world was still causing problems Wednesday in the Oklahoma Supreme Court's computer network.

Supreme Court spokeswoman Cheryl Camp said computer technicians, court personnel and computer training staffers have been working to restore the system.

``Apparently, the virus found a back door after the 14 counties received a patch through a remote connection,'' Camp said. The virus then attacked the statewide system, she said.

Camp said it could be Thursday before the system is fully repaired. The network has more than 1,600 computers and a patch will have to be applied to each one. Some will have to be manually rebooted.

``We were one of the first in the state to be hit with the virus because we are one of the few systems in the state that uses Microsoft XP,'' said Camp.

She said the system uses a series of firewalls that makes it harder for a virus to infect the system.
