Glenpool School students have survived their first day back in class. They were some of the first in the area to head back to school.

Students of all ages were armed with new supplies and many were led by their parents into the buildings.

Almost all said they were ready for the first day. Zachary Mitchell: "You don't have to do any work.â€ Kylee Mainard: "I'm gonna have a new teacher this year and I'm gonna make new friends." Kirsten Pendleton: "I feel great."

Most of the teachers did take it easy, but there was still a lot to do. Like coloring, putting puzzles together and playing in the sand.
