(Pawhuska-AP) -- A 9-foot bronze statue of Oklahoma resident and Major League Baseball Hall-of-Famer Warren Spahn is leaving the state tomorrow.

The state will be unveiled at 11:30 tomorrow morning in Pawhuska before it's sent to Atlanta. The 95-thousand dollar statue was privately funded and will be placed outside Turner Field in Atlanta, home of the Atlanta Braves.

Spahn spent most of his baseball career with the Boston and Milwaukee Braves before the team moved to Atlanta.

The public is invited to tomorrow's unveiling with Spahn, sculptor Shan Gray and others. The statue send-off will be at the Osage Tribal Museum in Pawhuska.
