(Albuquerque, New Mexico-AP) -- A man wanted in the beating death of a -year-old Oklahoma girl is in custody in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
U-S marshals arrested Anthony Andrew Lujan on Tuesday after he contacted authorities and agreed to surrender at a shopping center.
Lujan is accused of beating 4-year-old Sheyann Ramos of Sayre on July 19th. The girl was the daughter of Lujan's girlfriend and died three days later.
Lujan was free at the time on 75-hundred dollars bond after pleading guilty to child abuse, battery and other charges in Albuquerque.
Authorities say Lujan will be sentenced and serve his time in New Mexico before returning to face the Oklahoma charges. Lujan also plans to fight extradition to Oklahoma.
