Tulsa investigators and detectives have their hands full working a number of murders in Tulsa this year.

It’s a job not many of us could do. Combing through gruesome crime scenes at all hours, takes real dedication. Roy Heim is a former investigator for the Tulsa Police Department and he knows that kind of dedication first-hand. He’s worked crime scenes for more than 30 years. He also investigated disasters like the Oklahoma City bombing.

Heim says going behind the yellow tape does take its toll on you. But he says it's worth it. “Getting that answer for family and friends where we can say we know what happened and we'll be able to make things come to rest for you."
