Attempted ATM burglary

An investigation into a string of ATM burglaries. The latest happened around two o'clock Monday morning at the ALPS grocery store at 15th and Lewis.

Police responded to a call that a truck had crashed into the store. When they arrived, they found a stolen truck inside and found the ATM as the target. Tulsa Police Sgt Rex Menn, “it seems to be a consistent with prior attempts and successful attempts largely of the ATM machines across the city.”

The suspects took off in a second vehicle. The pick-up was still running when police arrived. It had been stolen sometime overnight.
