There is good news for one local community hurting from job losses. The National Steak and Poultry plant in Owasso is making plans to add about 450 new jobs over the next few years.

The company processes and packs beef, poultry, and pork for several retail outlets and restaurants.

Right now, the company employs about 300 people.
