The burden is a little light for the Community of Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
Last week, the News on 6 told you how they are being hit hard by the economy just like everyone else, more clients and fewer donations. Tyson Foods helped stock the pantry Thursday.
The food processor donated more than 20,000 pounds of beef, pork and chicken to the food bank. That food should be enough to provide more than 102,000 high-protein meals to people at risk of going hungry.
