Solar power is used for all sorts of things these days, even racecars! This one belongs to 38 students from Illinois' Principia College.

Broken Arrow is the latest stop on their cross-country race. Racer Robyn Goacher says driving the sun-powered car is fun, but there's a serious message behind it. Robyn Goacher, solar racer, "All the oil and gasoline that we use isn't gonna be around for that long. So, to be aware that you can drive 2,300 miles on sunlight, makes you really wonder what else you can do."

Robyn says they've gotten their car up to 65 miles per hour, but at this point they don't know how fast it will go.
