(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The number of airline passengers at the state's two largest airports is improving.
The number of air travelers at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City in June increased from nearly 148,000 a year ago to nearly 157,000 last month.
The 6% increase is the first in four months. Airport officials say events such as the Billy Graham crusade, a national square dance competition and a horse show brought people to the airport.
The number of air passengers at Tulsa International Airport decreased for the sixth straight month, but airport officials see some good news. The 5.2% decline last month much better than the 11% drop reported in May.
Tulsa International had almost 130,000 air passengers in June, down from nearly 137,000 in June 2002.
