This week’s $250-million Powerball lottery drawing paid off big time for some Tulsa folks.

They might not have won the big jackpot, but 30 employees of the Tulsa law firm, Pray, Walker, Jackman, Williamson and Marler won $100,000.

The employees pooled their money and bought several dozen tickets. After searching through all their tickets, they found one that matched all five of the numbers, but not the Powerball number.

Toby Loomis, "We were all trying to scramble to figure out how many people had entered, in the pool and it came to 30 so we were all frantically trying to figure out how much 30 divided by 100,000 was."

They walk away with a little more than $3,300 each. That is before taxes. Their winning ticket was purchased at a convenience store in Missouri.
