A warning to anyone selling merchandise online. Tulsa Police say they have received several reports this week of a scam where a buyer from overseas uses bogus checks to pay for the items.
Police say sellers should be cautious of buyers who are overseas. And watch the postmark on the check, it typically says Ghana or Nigeria, but the buyer claims to be from Europe.
