After days of hot hot weather, things have cooled off, with help from severe weather. <br><br>Strong winds and torrential downpours were the norm overnight. That caused some localized street flooding.

After days of hot hot weather, things have cooled off, with help from severe weather.

Strong winds and torrential downpours were the norm overnight. That caused some localized street flooding.

AEP-PSO says as many as 2,500 customers lost power, mostly from tree limbs hitting power lines. Crews worked overnight to restore service to about 900 customers in Owasso, Broken Arrow and McAlester.
