Oklahoma State University regents have decided on tuition hikes at O-S-U and other universities.

Freshmen enrolling at O-S-U's Stillwater campus this fall will pay 29 percent more in tuition and fees, while returning students will pay nearly 24 percent more.

Students at Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Langston University and Connors State College in Warner and Muskogee will pay 10 percent more in tuition.

Also yesterday, Regents for Oklahoma Colleges increased tuition by about 15 percent at six regional universities. Fee increases at the colleges will range from 8 percent to 30 percent.

Those institutions are the University of Central Oklahoma, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Northwestern Oklahoma State, Northeastern State, Southeastern Oklahoma State and East Central University.
