(McAlester-AP) -- Four towns in eastern Oklahoma will receive Community Development Block Grants for local projects.

Savanna will get $250,000 to help pay for new sewer lines and Stigler is getting $250,000 to upgrade its water treatment plant.

Haileville will receive nearly $17,000 for sewer system improvements. Eufaula gets $3,750 for a wastewater system improvement project.
