Some Tulsa businesses say they expect to hire at a brisk pace during the third quarter of 2003.

That's according to an outlook survey done by Manpower Employment Service. From July to September, 33% of the companies surveyed say they plan to hire more employees. That's compared to the 13% that plan to reduce their workforce.

47% of the companies surveyed say they plan to maintain their current staff levels, while another 7% weren't sure what they were going to do.
