Tulsa Police took one man to jail and may have solved a rash of car burglaries. Police say around one Monday morning, a security guard saw a man breaking into a pickup in a downtown alley just east of Boston Avenue.
The guard was able to give police a description and they set up perimeter. They caught the suspect outside old City Hall with stolen property. Tulsa Police Sgt Richard Alexander, "Security guard called in and gave us some good directions where he was running from. When we caught him he had some more stolen property, that we're still looking into, but it looks like it’s from another burglary from earlier today."
Police are still investigating, but they believe this man may be connected to three burglaries in the area as well as a rash of burglaries recently.
