Two men caught tattooing customers in a Tulsa shop, want to use their arrests to fight an Oklahoma law that bans the practice.

Thursday night undercover officers found them tattooing two customers at T-Town Tattoos and Novelties at 716 North Sheridan. Authorities say they violated a 40 year-old state law that says it's illegal to insert "permanent pigment" under the skin, with a needle.

The men refuse to pay their fines, saying these days, tattoos "can" be removed, so they're not permanent, and therefore, not illegal. Oklahoma and South Carolina are the only states that ban tattooing.
