An apparent dispute over caring for children ends with a shooting death.

A Sequoyah County woman died after an apparent dispute over the care of her children. Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown says the body of 24-year-old Garabi Girsback was found in the yard of her home between Vian and Gore, Monday night.

Brown says 47-year-old Danny Moore is in custody in connection with Girsback's death. Moore had no legal custody of Girsback's children, but has been caring for them for some time.

The children are 2 and 5 years old.
