(Stillwater-AP) -- A Houston-area high school basketball player says he'll sign with Oklahoma State.

Neiman Owens is a 6-foot-3 guard who averaged 18 points, nearly seven assists and almost nine rebounds per game as a junior last season.

Verbal commitments are not binding. The early signing period for high school basketball players is in November.
