College Station - Matt Farrington's two-R-B-I triple in the eighth inning helped the Houston Cougars eliminate Oral Roberts 4-to-2 today in an N-C-A-A regional.
Farrington finished the game in College Station going 3-for-4, with two R-B-I's.
The third-seeded Cougars tonight are scheduled to play the loser of the Texas A-and-M/Alabama game.
Ryan Wagner picked up the win after entering the game in the eighth inning and allowing three hits and one run.
Dallas Martin took the loss for Oral Roberts, now 41-and-20.
The Golden Eagles mounted a comeback in the ninth inning after loading the bases against Wagner.
Grant Plumley drove in Scott Campbell with a two-out single to left field to bring Oral Roberts within two, but Plumley was forced out at second to end the game after a ground ball by David Castillo.
Cole Bruce and Hyung Cho also drove in runs for Houston.
