There's good news for two Tulsa area high schools. Newsweek magazine says Tulsa's Booker T Washington and Jenks High School both rank among the top 500 in the country.

Booker T came in 146th. Jenks is ranked 309th. The numbers were calculated by how many students take advanced placement tests and the number of graduating seniors.

Newsweek says the best high school in the country is in the wealthy Detroit suburb of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
