David DeJesus' third inning home run provided the winning margin as Wichita beat Tulsa 3-2 in a Texas League game Friday night.
The Wranglers were ahead 2-0, thanks to a two-run homer from Byron Gettis in the first, when DeJesus hit one to left center field.
Tulsa came within 3-1 in the third inning when Brad Hawpe's sacrifice fly scored Kevin Burford. The Drillers moved to 3-2 on Javier Colina's single to center field in the sixth inning, but the Drillers would score no more.
Jimmy Gobble improved to 6-3, allowing four hits and one run.
