(Monroe, Louisiana-AP) -- Former Oklahoma State quarterback Charlie Weatherbie is the new head coach at Louisiana-Monroe.

Weatherbie replaces Mike Collins, who resigned last month after being arrested and charged with drunken driving.

Weatherbie has a career coaching record of 45-and-64 at Navy and Utah State.
