OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A reward has been doubled to $20,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the bombing of an FBI agent's home mailbox in McAlester.
A homemade device exploded early Sunday in the mailbox of the FBI agent assigned to McAlester, the FBI said. No one was injured.
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is matching the $10,000 reward being offered by the FBI. In addition, the postal agency is distributing about 8,000 information flyers to residents in McAlester and surrounding areas.
People with information should call the Oklahoma City FBI office at 405-290-7770, the McAlester office at 918-423-1413, or the postal inspection service at 405-553-6511.
