The Tulsa County District Attorney has filed first-degree murder charges in a 28-year-old cold case.
Prosecutors believe California prison inmate Clyde Wilkerson strangled Tulsan Geraldine Martin in 1975.
Detectives say Martin was abducted from Tulsa Junior College, her body was found at the Osage Apartments. Tulsa Police learned of Wilkerson through California authorities. His DNA was then compared to DNA recovered from the case.
Wilkerson pleaded guilty to a 1965 California beating death and received a life sentence last month.
