(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma's Anda Perianu has been named the Big 12 women's tennis player of the year.

Perianu has a record of 22-and-2 at number-one singles and has won 12 matches in a row.

The junior from Romania has a career winning percentage of .817, the highest in OU women's tennis history.

Perianu was recently named to the all-Big 12 first team for the second straight year.
