OSU women's golf team wins Big 12 tournament

(Columbia, Missouri-AP) -- Oklahoma State won its 3rd straight Big 12 women's golf championship in Columbia, Missouri, and Oklahoma came in 4th.

The Cowgirls beat Missouri by one stroke, after trailing by one stroke entering the final round. OSU's final score was 909 on the par-72 course.

Karin Sjodin finished tied for 2nd, Christi Cano finished 4th and Annie Thurman finished 7th for the Cowgirls. All three earned Big 12 All-Tournament Honors.

Hope Edge led the way for the Sooners and finished tied for 11th place. Amparo Gala finished tied for 14th and Lisa Meldrum tied for 19th.
