(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Governor Henry sums up his biggest accomplishment in his first 100 days in office with one word -- bipartisanship.

Henry, a Democrat, says he's worked hard to promote cooperation between Democrats and Republicans and his efforts have paid off.

Henry says he believed more would be accomplished if party labels were put aside while lawmakers got down to business.

One example of bipartisan cooperation was the April eighth announcement by Democratic and Republican leaders that they'd reached agreement clearing the way for a five-point-one (b) billion-dollar state budget.

Senate President Pro Tem Cal Hobson recently told reporters that budget negotiations between the two parties were different this year from previous years. Hobson says in the past there was little communication between Republicans and Democrats.
