Broken Arrow High School students lined up Wednesday to give the gift of life. They were also hoping to break a record for blood donations to the American Red Cross.
Last year Broken Arrow sponsored the largest single-day blood drive in the southwest region, collecting 331 units of blood. Their goal was to surpass that record Wednesday. 462 students had signed up to support not only the war effort but also other needs.
