(Broken Arrow-AP) -- A three-gun salute and taps honored Sergeant First Class Randall Rehn as he was buried Tuesday in Broken Arrow.
Rehn was based at Fort Sill. He died April 3rd in an apparent friendly fire incident in Iraq.
About 200, family, friends and fellow servicemen attended Tuesday's service. The Longmont, Colorado, native was remembered as a fun-loving gentleman and a great soldier.
He's the first Oklahoma-based soldier who was killed in action to be buried in the state. Two other Fort Sill soldiers who were killed with Rehn, but were buried elsewhere.
US Marine Lance Corporal Thomas Alan Blair of Broken Arrow also died in action and was buried in Joplin, Missouri.
Rehn leaves behind a wife, RaeLynn and 7-month-old daughter. RaeLynn Rehn wanted her husband buried in the Tulsa area because she plans to live there.
