(Oklahoma City-AP) -- About 20 members from the Will Rogers Air National Guard Base in Oklahoma City were deployed to Europe Friday.

The members of the 137th Airlift Wing have been called to active duty for one to two years to support the war in Iraq.

The military says the unit will handle passengers and cargo for various types of aircraft.
