We know some Broken Arrow Marines were part of a major find in Iraq. A journalist embedded with the 2nd Battalion 23rd Marines says they found a truck with a "false wall."
It was hiding containers and other equipment that could be used to develop biological weapons. Five anti-tank units have already been activated from the Marine Reserve Center in Broken Arrow. And right now, about 25 of the Broken Arrow Reserve Marines are fighting around Baghdad with a larger Battalion of part-time Marines.
Major Michael Sims oversees the reserve center, and says it's not just luck keeping them safe. “No it makes me proud that they're in the fight and we've obviously trained them right. And uh we've done some things right that with a minimum amount of training that they're in high-intensity combat."
Sims says three more Broken Arrow units are activated and are waiting to be deployed.
