Hundreds of people gathered Thursday in Lawton to remember three Fort Sill soldiers killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
More than 200 people showed up to remember Sergeant First Class Randall Rehn, Sergeant Todd Robbins and Specialist Samuel Oaks. All three were killed in a battle in Iraq on April 3rd.
Fort Sill officials say they are the first Fort Sill soldiers to die in combat since the Vietnam War.
A memorial service was also held Thursday in Longmont, Colorado for Army First Sergeant Rehn. Rehn is a native of Longmont, although many of his relatives live in the Tulsa area.
He will be buried in Lawton, where his wife and 7-month-old daughter live.
