A gentle reminder as you drive to and from work or wherever this week. Many law enforcement agencies will be keeping an eye on roadwork zones throughout the area.

Highway workers are more likely to die from traffic-related crashes than any other hazard on their job. So the Tulsa Police Department has teamed up with several other police agencies to observe Work zone Awareness week.

They say the three principal causes of work zone crashes are following too closely, speeding and inattentive driving.
