You may have driven through a construction zone on your way home from or to work and never really thought about the men and women who work there.

Highway workers are more likely to die from traffic-related crashes than any other hazard on their job.

That's why the Tulsa Police Department has teamed up with several other police agencies to observe â€œWork zone Awareness Weekâ€ next week.

Starting Monday, Tulsa Police will be concentrating patrols around construction zones.
