(Owasso-AP) -- An Oologah man was killed in an early morning one-car crash north of Owasso in Tulsa County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says David Wayne Cook was killed in the crash on U-S 169 about 1:15 Friday morning.

Troopers say the pickup Cook was driving north ran off the roadway, hit a sign, overcorrected and rolled before stopping in the southbound lanes.

Troopers say Cook was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the truck.
