Muskogee getting ready for kickoff of the annual Azalea Festival

For more than two decades Honor Heights Park in Muskogee has been home to the highly acclaimed Azalea Festival.<br><br>The 122-acre park features 40 acres of gardens with over 30,000 azaleas in 625 varieties.

For more than two decades Honor Heights Park in Muskogee has been home to the highly acclaimed Azalea Festival.

The 122-acre park features 40 acres of gardens with over 30,000 azaleas in 625 varieties. This is one of the largest tourist attractions in Oklahoma.

Besides enjoying the beautiful flowers, there is also a Chili and BBQ cook-off and an arts and crafts show.

The festival begins this Saturday and runs through April 28th.
